MOOD GIN - MAKRO LIMITED EDITION

MOOD Gin teamed up with Makro to launch limited edition bottles. We conceptualised the new look for the campaign as well as the roll-out. Each bottle portrayed a unique personality and I personally illustrated MOOD Gin Amber.
ILLUSTRATION
The illustration is based on a personality we created around the Amber gin.
He’s a busy guy. A very busy guy. He is a fashion designer who is always on the road - although a plane is more his style. He’s into music and can play a couple of instruments himself.
He loves tennis and holidays in Cape Town so he can head to the beach.
He loves food. Eating out and cooking for his friends and family. Big fan of sushi and poitjie. Two different parts of his extravagent personality. He is always dressed impeccably well, but he dresses for himself - not anyone else.
Based on this I choose elements to represent him. The Illustration style reflects the sort of doodles he would have done.

THE BOTTLE
The illustration was then on a half sleeve on the bottle. We didn’t want to depart too much from the original MOOD design, but it did need to be different enough to show that it was special.
